Miki – Lord of the cocktails

MIKI – born in the early 2000s in Bosnia-Herzegovina as a child of Generation Z. He grew up with his parents and his older brother Mile, who also supported the Chesa Monte team for many years. After compulsory school, Miki completed a tourism apprenticeship in Bosnia and in 2021 his path led him to Fiss at Chesa Monte ****S.

Here in the ‘Herzensmenschen’ team, he integrated very quickly and learnt German – even though we Tyroleans didn’t always make it easy for him at the beginning with our dialect 😉

Miki loves his work as a bartender because he can communicate with guests at the bar and organise a nice evening for them with his cocktails.

Miki what do you do in your free time?
I’ve made lots of friends in Fiss – we play football or volleyball together.

Miki started karate at the age of 6 and found a way to train his whole body. The reward for his hard training was a silver medal at the Austrian Open at the age of 13 and the crowning glory of his black belt.

As a balance to martial arts, Miki learnt traditional Serbian dances at a club in his home country, which are still performed at folk festivals today. For him, dancing is a connection to his culture and he is very proud of this tradition.

Strawberry daiquiri

Rum, lime juice and sugar syrup – a delicious daiquiri cocktail is ready. Especially a delight in the strawberry season.

Here are Miki’s simple instructions for the strawberry daiquiri, which will also delight your guests.

Ingredients:

4.5 cl white or brown rum
2.5 cl freshly squeezed lime juice
1.5 cl agave syrup
4 strawberries

Preparation:

Measure out the rum, lime juice and agave syrup and place in a blender with the strawberries and approx. 4 ice cubes. Blend thoroughly until you have a smooth cocktail. Pour the strawberry daiquiri into a cocktail bowl and serve garnished with a strawberry.
