How it all began:
Thomas Gruber – the boss of Gruber-Transporte from Weinitzen in Styria is a long-time regular and friend of the Chesa Monte. During a visit in the summer of 2023, the conversation turned to his new truck, which he had ordered shortly beforehand – and in a beautiful colour – you could almost say ‘Chesa Monte blue’.
What could be more obvious than to dress this truck in a Chesa Monte outfit? Designed in collaboration with our advertising agency ‘Sterntaler’ in the unmistakable Chesa Monte CI. The result is something to be proud of, isn’t it 😉 ?
And for all technology freaks – here are a few more details:
- Scania 770S in sapphire blue metallic
- The trailer is a Schmitz Cargobull
- The great tarpaulin is from the Karoplan company in Linz
- … and the lettering in gold was perfectly realised by Korherr in Hartberg, Styria

The route of the Chesa Monte Truck
It has already been seen in Passau, Wels, Munich, Stuttgart, Ulm, Memmingen, Sindelfingen, Pforzheim, Karlsruhe, Heilbronn, Nuremberg, Regensburg, Deggendorf, Augsburg … have been spotted. Incidentally, the Chesa Monte truck runs on CO2-neutral HVO 100 fuel.
Thomas is inundated with compliments for his Chesa Monte Truck. And he can hardly save himself from orders – everyone wants to have their goods delivered with the Chesa Monte Truck.
